Active Isolation Stretching
Active Isolation Stretching (AIS) is a focused and effective method for stretching and strengthening targeted portions of the body. I find AIS brings about greater relaxation, enjoyment and readiness for physical activity than most commonly recognized methods of stretching. Repetitions of various motions, maximize the benefits of stretching, while minimizing the risks and discomforts of stretching. It can be performed most places and once you have learned the motions most relavent to your goals, you can take them with you for as long as you like to use them.
